We have been opening our doors as a dance studio in Vienna since 2016. Our founders and main trainers Virgiliu Bumbu and Kamila Sakowska have been dancing since they were children and have been teaching for many years. During this time they have experienced that a wide variety of people want to come dance – from students to teachers, and from mothers to students. We have therefore adapted our offering specifically to this variety of dancers. Since 2020, there have been two clubs for our members: the dance sports club DanceConcepts for amateur sports dancers and aspiring future competition dancers, and the TSK Danceland for active competition dancers of all ages and starting classes. This division enables us to respond to the wishes of the different dancers in the best possible way and to guide them to their own goals – whether this is competition dancing or simply dancing together as a couple. All are welcome!
We are particularly proud of the variety of nations and languages in our club. Our club chairman and standard head coach Virgiliu comes from Moldova, and our Latin head coach Kamila is Polish. The two have trained under many international coaches. In addition, our club has dancers from many different nations, which means many different languages are spoken: Russian, Romanian, Polish, English, German, Hungarian, Slovak, Ukrainian, … Everyone is welcome!
In the last few years, our dancers have danced at numerous national and international tournaments and achieved numerous podium places. But you are also welcome as a hobby dancer: We have a wide variety of hobby dance training courses for all ages and abilities. If you were to ask us about our main focus, it would be the training of young talents (from the age of 3) who will become internationally successful dancers over many years.
Virgiliu has been dancing since he was about eight years old and has dedicated his entire life to dancing. After school he studied dance sport in combination with pedagogy. He has already won numerous international tournaments and has represented Moldova and Austria internationally together with Kamila! He also won the Viennese Waltz Competition (the “World Championship” in Viennese Waltz) together with Kamila in 2014. He has now opened our club together with Kamila and is a state-certified trainer (specializing in dance sports). He mainly teaches standard dances and speaks Romanian, Russian, Polish, English, Spanish and German.
Kamila comes from a successful family of dancers and trainers and has been dancing passionately since she was three and a half years old. She has also studied dance sport in combination with pedagogy, has danced at numerous international tournaments and, together with Virgiliu, represented Moldova and Austria at international tournaments. She is now a state-certified trainer (specializing in dance sports) and dedicates her life to training (especially Latin) dancers.
